Finally, I am at a point where I can see the future of my art! Feedback told me that not drawing in the shapes made the work look incomplete and that I left too much white space, suggesting black instead of white. But, In standing in front of everyone and hearing how this reflects my personality, I realized I don't want to make something that doesn't feel like me. After all, making art should reflect who you are, or what others don't get to see. But I agree with my peers that I need to do something with the blank white area. Maybe I could try doodling on top of that to give the illusion of more layers and add depth. Compared to my other work, this is definitely the strongest. It has an interesting composition and elements that reflect my personality, which is something that I have never accomplished.
